Nurse Practitioner - Geriatrics New

Overview
This role offers an opportunity to work as a Nurse Practitioner focused on geriatrics in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care focused on elderly population
Manage patient care within a risk-based managed care model
Build trust and rapport with patients through empathetic communication
Complete patient notes and administrative tasks daily
Bilingual and at least one year experience

Schedule and Shift Details
Monday to Friday workweek, patient visits until 4:00 PM, followed by 1 hour for notes and administrative tasks
Dictation available
Competitive Base Salary with obtainable bonus
1:8 Call - Phone Only
New Customized EMR - 2026:
Well established practice with 6 Clinics

Screening Questions
1) Are you a board-certified or eligible Nurse Practitioner?
2) Do you have experience or a strong interest in geriatrics?
3) Can you describe your understanding of the risk-based managed care model?
4) How do you manage patient care to avoid over-utilizing referrals?
5) How would you describe your bedside manner and communication style with elderly patients?
6) Are you comfortable working a Monday to Friday schedule with patient care until 4 PM and administrative tasks afterward?

Required Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience with Geriatric Care or Geriatric/LTC
• 1+ years of experience with Managed Care
• 1+ years of experience with Care Management
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Florida (FL) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Florida (FL) certifications/licenses
